The classic mat style. Mat width can be any size, however the standard width is usually between 2-3 inches. Available in all colours below.

Float
When an object is floated it is raised above the mat board so the edges of the artwork are visible. Floats are available in all mount colours below or can be painted any colour.

Similar to a float mount however the artwork is raised up above the mat by between 5-15mm. Raised floats are available in all mount colours below or can be painted any colour.

Tray
A tray is a combination of a window mat and a float. An artwork is floated and window mat is cut slightly larger than the artwork so the edges are left exposed. Available in all colours shown below.

Objects can be put straight into frames without a mat however artworks should never be placed up against the glazing. A small fillet is used to keep the artwork from touching the glass to prevent help prevent the artwork from damage.
